Influence of Organomineral Fertilizers on the Potatoes Photosynthetic Activity Indicators in the Mountainous Zone of The Kabardino-Balkarian Republic

Abstract

The article presents the results of studies on the use of domestically produced organomineral fertilizers on potato plantings. A positive effect of organomineral fertilizers on the values of photosynthetic activity of crops, formation and accumulation of above-ground mass, dry matter, productivity and quality indicators of the obtained products has been established. The following organomineral fertilizers were studied: Ultramag Combi – 2.5 l/ha; Polidon Bio Profi – 2.5 l/ha; Biostim universal – 2.5 l/ha; Agromaster – 2.5 l/ha. Organomineral fertilizers were applied in the form of foliar treatments: the 1st treatment during the period of closure of the tops in the row spacings, the 2nd at the budding phase. The consumption rate of the working fluid is 200 l/ha. The following varieties were studied as objects of study – Osetinsky, Goryanka, Kislovodsky. Field experiments were conducted in the mountainous conditions of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, on leached chernozems of Belokamenskoye Agricultural Holding, and were conducted from 2021 to 2023. The average leaf area over the years of research on the Osetinsky variety ranged from 46.8 thousand sq.m./ha in the control experiment to 50.4 thousand sq.m./ha in the experiment using the organomineral fertilizer Polidon Bio Profi. The leaf area on the Goryanka variety was 5.8-6.1% less, and on the Kislovodsky variety 15.0-15.3% less than on the Osetinsky variety. The highest photosynthetic potential (3,516 thousand sq.m. x day/ha) was accumulated on the Osetinsky variety in the experiment using the organomineral fertilizer Polidon Bio Profi. The lowest photosynthetic potential was observed in the Kislovodsky variety plantings in the control variant of the experiment and amounted to 2563 thousand sq.m. x day/ha.
