Methods for constructing the complex index of sires by interrelation with factors of external environment

Abstract

The materials on evaluation of sires with different body types on the quality of offspring (bull-calves and heifers) in different seasons of the year are presented in article. The complex index construction in its calculation was carried out with inclusion of scoring the body type severity and without it. It was found that the combination of breeding evaluation using exterior-constitutional features of young animat increases the accuracy and reliability of genetic potential determination. Season of the year during the young animat test had no significant effect on the rank of sires.
