Soil protection efficiency of forest amelioration on slope lands in the south of European area of Russia

Abstract

The paper presents the calculation data on soil protective efficiency of flow-regulating forest belts on sloping ground; substantiates the species assortment and their service period on eroded lands; determines the regularities of erosion-control effect dynamics of forest amelioration depending on the natural zone, site inclination, bioengineering peculiarities of forest belts and suggests the function for its calculation.
