Abstract

January 29 present year, scientists and engineers working in the field of the agricultural production automation and mechanization celebrated the 150th anniversary of the Vasily Prohorovich Goryachkin birth the agricultural mechanics founder, honorary academician of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, VASKHNIL academician, honored worker of science and technology of the RSFSR, the first chairman of the VASHNIL mechanization section. Vasily Prohorovich Goryachkin passed away on September 22, 1935. Since then, 83 years have passed, but today he is also a bright personality for engineering agricultural science.
