The BIOM-M preparation biotesting for methanol utilization

Abstract

Biotesting by the BIOM-M biopreparation, which is used to clean reservoirs and soil from methanol contamination, shown that the preparation application in a dose of 1 kg per 2 m2 does not result after 2 and 20 ... 24 hours of exposure to changes in mobility and does not violate the fish search behavioral reactions, not effect on their relation to the gustatory stimulus and they do not exhibit a behavioral gustatory response. The content of planktonic crustaceans and gastropods with the biopreparation does not result to negative changes in their reproductive capacity. The stimulating effect of the BIOM-M biopreparation on the generation of the daphnia juveniles has been established.
