Abstract

The history of the creation genetic collections vitaminic berries - blue honeysuckle (Lonicera caerulea L., Caprifoliaceae). It has been shown that in Russia there are several genetic centers initial selection of unique genotypes - Barnaul, Moscow, Leningrad and Primorsky region. If in the 1950s the culture of the blue honeysuckle passed the stage of introduction, in the 2000s, the selection was carried out with the best results, the existing gene pool. It outlined the main directions in the selection of non-traditional and less common culture, including analytical selection, hybridization, mutagenesis and laser treatment on seeds. By introducing into the culture of a new type of useful plant, which has a geographical variability and variability of agronomic qualities, you must have a stable climate in the region population. Important for the selection of honeysuckle has the maximum genetic diversity in the assortment, including varieties with different ripening fruit and good resistance to phytopathogens and fillofags. In 2016 officially recognized by in Russia more than 100 different varieties of honeysuckle blue, but the process of increasing the profitability of culture should be improved further.
