Corn protection methods from perennial weeds after postemergence

Abstract

The effectiveness of the different chemical classes herbicides use in the corn protection from perennial weed has been studied. The investigations were carried out from 2014 to 2016 in the “Cherek-Kolos” LLC fields with hybrid Mashuk 350MV corn sowing. The land- tenure is located in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic foothill zone in lukewarm climate. The experimental field soil is the typical residual meadow medium-thick slightly humic light-clayey black soil, with the salt extract pH level – 7,2 and 3,6 % humus content. The formulations were tested on perennial monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous weeds. The our three-year research results showed that formulations application corn sowing provide increasing in corn grain yield by 0,3...2,3 tons/ha an average, which is determined mainly by degree of the weed infestation. The plats treated with Mays Ter Power herbicide (Maximal Dose (1,5 l/ha)) were maximum cleaned and the additional yield was 2,3 t/ha. The lowest values were obtained in the variant with herbicide Esteron, KE application 0,3 and 0,6 t/ha, respectively. The maximum yield (7,0 t/ha) was during the Mays Ter Power (Maximal Dose (1,5 l/ha)) processing slightly below than Elumis (Maximal Dose – 1,75 l/ha) – 6,8 t/ha. The Kordus Plus using, VDG + Trend, 90 ZH (0,44 kg/ha) and Esteron, KE 91,0 l/ha) in high doses increased the grain harvest by 1,3 t/ha and 0,8 t/ha, respectively, compared with the check, the corn yield for grain in 2016 increased by 4,7 t/ha.
