Abstract

The present study is dedicated to use of nitrogen and sulfur suggested with fodder for raising younglings of cattle, sheep and saiga at various types of feeding. Three groups of each type of ruminant animals were formed after the suckling period. The animals of the 1st group were fed by hay type of feeding, the animals of the 2nd group were fed by haylage type of feeding, the animals of the 3rd group were fed by green feeding types. It was proved that from all types of feeding regimes, the younglings of sheep were the most successful at absorbing nitrogen. They surpassed the saigas with the hay type of feeding by 12,17 %, the haylage - by 16,46 % and the green one by 16,59 %, and bulls by 8,58, 9,72 and 9,22 %, respectively. The younglings of bulls and sheep of the 2nd group of feeding regime which received haylage ration had a bigger percentage of nitrogen usage than the groups that were in the hay and green types of feeding. Saigas of the 3rd group kept to a green diet had a higher coefficient of nitrogen use over peers from the 2nd group by 1,29 and the 1st one by 0,82 %. It was revealed that bull-calves and lambs fed by haylage type of feeding had an increase in the sedimentation of sulfur in the body. Saigas receiving a green diet were better at assimilating sulfur from fodder compared to the 1st and 2nd groups, respectively by 2,05 and 0,81 %.
