Abstract

It is presented the optimized method for creation of new stud pedigree beef type of horned cattle in Hereford breed to increase the production of high-quality beef. The interaction of domestic and foreign selections has allowed us to combine high meat productivity with good adaptable qualities and fitness to the pasture keeping.
