Abstract

The studies found that the total amount of carbon dioxide in the venous blood of calves less in Group 1, 1,9, in the 2 nd - 2,0 (P <0,01) mmol /L. In calves black-motley breed shift buffer reason is stronger, due to possibly higher respiratory rate during heat exposure and respectively higher than in calves of group 2, the volume of pulmonary ventilation. This is due, no doubt, to the fact that the black-and-white breed of cattle is not sufficiently acclimatized to the heat conditions.
