NEW VARIETIES OF OIL-BEARING CROPS

Abstract

The results of tests of new varieties of oilseeds: linseed, rapeseed and colza of the Siberian experimental station of VNIIMK, the city of Isilkul of the Omsk oblast (FEDERAL State Budgetary Institution “SOS VNIIMK”). Breeding work on flax oilseeds started at the station since 1961, and since 1983 has been working on low glu- cosinolate content of erucic acid, varieties of Brassica crops: rapeseed and colza. During this period, were crea- ted and zoned 5 varieties flax, 6 varieties of spring rapeseed and 3 varieties of spring colza. In 2016 in the State register of breeding achievements admitted for use, is included and recommended in Western-Siberian region new high-yielding varieties: flax seeds August and spring rapeseed Granit.
