Barley for the Ryazan region as well as for Russia as a whole is a very valuable crop. Deficient adaptive potential of the many recognized varieties is one of the reasons not only the yield reducing but also the grain quality, especially fail years. Manufacturing requirements stimulates researches development for the higher quality raw materials cultivation, higher yields, and the new varieties creation. The article analyzes the competitive tests data of promising varieties and spring barley lines on yield and grain quality. The valuable varieties and breeding lines for the studied characteristics were obtained.Downloads
