The paper determines the regularities of formation of the sequence of replacing landscape units, with ecotones as transitional, boundary areas between different natural systems characterized by a high gradient of environmental changes, as well as the regularities of allocation of geographical latitude of transition areas (ecotones) of different spatial levels in sub-boreal landscapes including the definition of the latitude of transition areas on land according to the radiative heat flux and radiative index of dryness.Downloads
