Abstract

The problem of the forest conservation and enhancement, increase of their biological and ecological role is especially important for medium and sparsely wooded regions of the Russian European part (Central, Volga, Southern and North Caucasus Federal Districts), where existing forests and created timber stand are very environmentally friendly (maintaining biodiversity, the prevention of erosion and desert advancing process).
