The ionizing radiation effect on the vital capacity of pests and quality of grain and grain products
Keywords:
ionizing radiation, vitality, insects, grain, cereals, grain qualityAbstract
It has been shown that the effectiveness of radiation disinfestation of grain and grain products depends on the radiation dose and the dose rate: the total destruction of pests occurs at doses above 200 Gy (at a dose rate of 500 Gy / h) and above 600 Gy (at a dose of 100 power Gy/h). This exposure has a multidirectional impact on the chemical composition of grain and grain products.
