Productive qualities and exterior Characteristics of dappled deer

Abstract

The article presents the characteristics of the productive qualities and exterior and dappled deers were acclimatized in the Altai (Agricultural production cooperative (farm) “Iskra“). Animals have a high productiveness 1,18 kg and dam fertility (75 %). Parametric indicators of antlers dappled deer are beam length from 16,3 to 34 cm, girth from 8 to 23 cm, length of supraocular apophysis from 7 to 28 cm. The weight of antlers dapped deer is 72 %, and have rose-red colour, mainly. It is annual gross output at about 400 kg. The increase of antlers weight does not depend on deer categories and occurs during the first six years (64,7%).
