Abstract

In the field experiment the effect of different concentrations of herbicide - inhibitor of phytoene desaturase (group HRAC: FI) on the content and composition of essential oil of Mentha piperitha L. varieties Amber was studied. Hormone balance Red / Ox processes in the direction of redox reactions changed under the influence of the drug. It was established that the general processes of biosynthesis intensified accelerated synthesis of the essential oil increased to 30% of the biomass yield and collecting up to 50 % essential oil.
