Abstract

The article substantiates the idea about low molecular antioxidant metabolism and its place in the system of metabolism of higher plants. The key function of low molecular metabolisms - antioxidants contains in protecting components of the cell against the destructive action of oxidizing stress and forming the systems for the antioxidant protection of the individual plant and its stability, which is determined by the genotype and factors of the environment.
