Abstract

The following methods of FHI-1 identification have been performed: virus isolation; direct and indirect fluorescence; “Sandwich“ and inhibition of antigen solid phase ELISA testing for detection of feline herpesvirus infection in cats. Regarding simplicity, ease of reaction arrangement and getting quick results both “Sandwich“ and direct fluorescence methods have advantage over others one.
