Abstract

During long-term field experiment in the conditions of the Tambov and Lipetsk regions with apple varieties Imrus, Lobo and Spartan on different level of potassium nutrition were studied correlative relationship between the content of potassium in leaves, fruit, soil and yield. There was determined positive correlation between the content of potassium in soil and yield. At the same time there was determined negative correlation between potassium content in leaves and yield by a relatively high fruit load, due to the outflow of potassium from the leaves to the fruits during growth and maturation period. Between the potassium content in leaves and fruits there was no unique relationship. Between the potassium content in soil and in leaves tended to be a positive correlation in all the years of research experience in all variants.
