Food security of Russia and the sixth technological tenor in the AIC

Abstract

The transition of Russiato market economy after passing almost the quarter of the century has indicated that the appearance of small private owners has not caused significant growth of labor productivity in the AIC. Agricultural enterprises produce only 44,8 % of products, the rest - by housekeeping and farms (51,5 и 3,7 %, respectively). Russiahas proved of being not ready in time to enter the fifth technological tenor. But today, when the bases of the next tenor have been prepared in Western countries, the Russian economy on the base of scientific and technical potentials may join the process of global development exactly on the stage of forming the sixth technological tenor. The article indicates the inevitableness of new technical supplying agrarian, processing and food technologies by the way of reindustrialization of production and processing agricultural products.
