The agrobiological evaluation of the Prunus hybrids graft and rootstock combinations in the Moscow Region

Abstract

The article presents the results of long-term research on the cultivation of cherry plum in the Leninsky district of the Moscow region. The aim of the work is to identify the most productive stock/scion combinations on the basis of studying the growth and fruiting of trees. In 2006-2016 features of growth and fructification of trees of the cherry plum hybrid (Kubanskaya cometa and Naydena) are investigated at an inoculation on clonal stocks. High rates of linear and radial growth are marked at trees on the stock 13-113. Trees on the stock Novinka, differed constrained growth. In conditions of the Moscow area of a variety the Kubanskaja cometa also Naydena had high enough adaptive potential which has caused 100 %-s' safety of trees and their stable fructification. It is shown, that ter up to-30?С and after abnormal heat. Distinctions in productivity at trees various stock/scion combinatioreduction of productivity cherry plum hybrid occurs within to spring frosts, at reduction of temperature in the winns are revealed. It is marked, that at an inoculation on clonal stocks of a variety earlier for 1-2 years start to fructify. Efficiency of varieties was higher at an inoculation on stocks the Novinka and OPA-15-2. More fruitful in all years of fructification the variety the Kubanskaja cometa was.  On average, for nine years of fruiting, the yield of the variety the Kubanskaja cometa was 10,5...19, and Naydena – 6,5…7,7 t / ha. The most productive are allocated stock/scion combinations for cultivation in the Moscow area: Kubanskaya cometa on the Novinka and the Kubanskaya cometa on OPA-15-2 with a yield of more than 20 t / ha. For these combinations, the highest indices of specific fruiting were observed up to 2,3...3,8 kg / m3 of crown volume.
