EVALUATION OF THE EGG PRODUCTIVITY OF HENS FROM THE PARENT STOCK

Abstract

The effectiveness meat- and egg-type poultry is determined not only the extention of the baselines meat and egg chicken ancestral form population but the increase of the production and breeding poultry of the parent forms of the tasted cross quantities. The eggs mass of the same breed birds is related to their live weight, but meat –type breeds large chicken ofter lay smaller eggs than egg-type breed. The high correlation between the eggs mass and bird’s live weight allows selection to increase both characteristics, selecting to the breed herd big poultries and the eggs with the right size for incubation. For the assess of the production and breeding quantities parent stock under production conditions was performed two meat crosses “Serebryany Adler” and “Kuchinskiy Yubiley” comparative testing. Top results has a parents herd “Kuchinskiy Yubiley”. Age of 10,30,50 and 70% of the hens egg laying went before then “Serebryany Adler” and the egg laying was a week earlier.
