Abstract

The article considers historical and modern aspects of the use of polymeric covering materials, physiologically active substances when cultivating Spicy Aromatic Plants in protected soil conditions. The types of greenhouses used, the polymeric materials used are described. The classification of physiologically active substances is given. It is concluded that, taking into account the use of genetic achievements and breeding, these results and the current capabilities of the protected soil indirectly indicate the prospects for intensive cultivation of spicy vegetable crops as an annual crop, since only in this case can a programmed yield of environmentally friendly products be guaranteed.
